Dennis Owusu-Ansah is Ghanaian-born New York artist, illustrator, and designer whose pop art highlights the beauty of African culture using popular personalities as his muses. Reworking and reimagining some of the world’s biggest artist such as Jay Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, P. Diddy, Nicki Minaj, Barack and Michelle Obama in authentic African clothing and cultural attire. His masterpieces are displaced on various social media platforms and that caught the attention of CNN’s Ezra Gurkan who later did a story on Dennis.
Dennis is a graduate of Suny Institute of Technology where he received a degree in Business Administration/Finance. The artistry of Dennis Owusu-Ansah has given those who may not be too familiar with African culture a bridge over which they can cross in order to to appreciate the power and the nobility which resides within. Dennis continues on his mission to to challenge misconceptions by bringing Africa to the world at large and making Africa accessible through contemporary pop art.

Dunnie The Artist is a resilient first generation Nigerian American who has achieved many feats regardless of the times and changes throughout her life. Her work is heavily influenced by her west African heritage and faith in God. She creates breathtaking abstract works, cultural masks, hamsas and other historic symbols with the use of of bright colors, metallic paints, gold leaf and jewels. Outside of her artistry she is a mother to a darling 2 year old girl named ZION. She is a dynamic creative force for building environments for quality interactions, interface and exchange all by the grace of GOD.
Washington, DC borned artist, Simone Agoussoye, has been honing her skills in portrait artistry for the past several years. She pursued her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Art Institute of Washington and graduated class of 2011.
Simone’s evolution in portrait artistry has allowed her to explore using materials such as broken crushed glass in her portrait work. Although known for her portrait artistry her subject of paintings vary from animals, to landscape, and abstract art.
Simone’s artwork has been showcased at exhibitions in Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD and more including “Artist Evolutions” at the Art Avenue Gallery located at the National Harbor, Oxon Hill, MD. Her artwork is included in numerous private art collections throughout the U.S. and U.K.
